I wear a shower cap when painting my ceiling or high up, so I don't get paint in my hair.
I also shared a favorite paint color on your facebook, w/ photo after liking your page. Wish there was a LOVE IT button.
Thanks for starting this, I was looking for the Robin Blue and couldn't find it except in my head. Maybe for my bathroom, if I will the 50.00 in paint.
I've found that I can do a better job cutting in around the ceiling by moving counter clockwise around the room and, as crazy as it sounds, moving *clockwise* around the room to cut in at the baseboard. Are there any other right-handed painters out there for whom this works?
Hi there, love this blog..really helpful. I was wondering if you can put a "Whites" tab. There are just so many beautiful whites out there..and i would love to see how people are using them.
Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment. If you have a paint color to submit, please e-mail me directly at favoritepaintcolors@gmail.com. I would love to hear from you! Have a great day.
My painting tips:
ReplyDelete1. At the end of the day, wrap brushes tightly in plastic wrap and put in the fridge. Next day bring them to room temp and keep painting!
2. Put a light coat of vaseline on your hands when painting and paint splatters wil come off easily
3. Invest a couple of bucks and purchase one of those magnetic paint can clip ons for your brush....SO HANDY!!!!
Hope these tips help

To get the paint chunks out of a paint brush use a wire brush to comb them out.

ReplyDeleteI don't have official tabs for every color, but if you look down at my labels I have a few rooms in white. Hope this helps!
