House Tour + a Color Combination

Happy Friday everyone! Today I wanted to share with you a Parade of Homes tour from Montana! We moved here a few months ago after my husband graduated law school and we are loving being back home.
This tour is pure Montana, I love it. Everything in the home is decorated in a western theme and even the paint colors coordinate well. Here is a color scheme that is very neutral and although is definitely a certain theme, could work well in any home.
The main color on the walls is Bagel by Sherwin Williams and most of the trim is painted Craft Paper. I thought it went really well with the woodwork in the home (for those of you looking for more paint colors to go with wood trim. Also see my post here.)
The red accent wall in the master bedroom is painted Crabby Apple and the interior windows and doors are painted Biscuit, all by Sherwin Williams.

The construction was completed by a friend, Joe Fulford and most of the decorating by his wife Traci. If you have any other questions, let me know but I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! It is definitely fall here, the cold feels like it has settled in, but I am loving it! See you next week!

Bedroom Paint Colors {ideas for kids bedrooms}

Today I am featuring more rooms from the home that I posted about yesterday. Here are some adorable kids rooms with fun paint colors. The first bedroom is painted Pale Vista (top) and Jamaican Aqua (bottom) by Benjamin Moore.

This cute little girls room is painted Popcorn (top) and Sweet Pink (bottom) by Benjamin Moore – Target collection. I love the yellow bed and blue tea table.

This Ocean themed room is painted Airway (top) and Elephant Tail (bottom) by Benjamin Moore – Target collection again.

Last but not least, the paint colors of this space themed room are perfect: Nighty night (top) and Flying Saucer (bottom) by Benjamin Moore – also the Target collection.

Home Tours {paint color scheme ideas}

A few weeks ago I was down in Utah visiting family and had the chance to go to the Utah Valley Parade of Homes. Love this – because not only does it show you the new and best trends happening in the home world, and awesome decorating ideas, but I love seeing what paint colors the designers chose and what color schemes they put together. So for the next few posts I am going to show a few of the homes I went to and of course give you the paint colors.
First off – a lovely blue/green door. Paint color: Green Trance by Sherwin-Williams.

In this cute sitting room the paint color behind the stenciling is also Green Trance by Sherwin Williams, and the paint color to the left of it is Agreeable Gray by Sherwin Williams.

 Agreeable Gray was the main color throughout the home. This is one of my favorite “warm” grays and is a wonderful neutral. It’s the perfect back drop for the accent accessories used throughout the home (notice how many colors it goes with).

Next up is the office – painted Foggy Day by Sherwin Williams.

The master bedroom paint color is Silver Strand by Sherwin Williams.

And the bathroom is painted Misty by Sherwin Williams.
