Thank you for visiting Favorite Paint Colors!
My name is Kristin and I am a mother to two beautiful little girls. I love being able to stay home with them and getting inspiration from other bloggers on decorating and home tips. I have especially loved seeing how a simple paint color can transform a house into a home and give a room a little added charm.
This site is a compilation of favorite paint colors from around blog land to help give you inspiration for your next painting project and to make the "picking out" a little less stressful. I have categorized the paint by color and room to make it easier to find what you are looking for and will be continually updating the site with new colors. If you would like to submit a color of your own, see my other link. Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
hi Kristin - what a great idea, I would definitely become a follower if i was an American but our brands and paint names in Australia are so different. All the best for growing your blog!

Oh my, I can't thank you enough for this blog! I've been wracking my brain trying to find a paint color and seeing them on the walls is a HUGE help. I will definitely be stopping by frequently for inspiration.
ReplyDeleteAll I can say is YAY! I cannot pick a paint color to save my life, and I totally get my inspiration from decorating blogs. I know what I like when I see a finished room, but those tiny paint chips overwhelm and frustrate me! I just finished painting my 19 yr old daughters room Rainwashed from Sherwin Williams. It is SO beautiful and I love it, such a pretty blue/green color. Next on my list is a combo of Soft Fern & Cloud White by Benjamin Moore for my drab, boring taupe living room. I will post pics when everything is complete. Thanks so much for starting this blog!
ReplyDeleteI don't know a thing about picking out paint colors! I'm getting married this summer and don't have a clue what color would go well with our new bedding. I'm excited to get ideas from your blog!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! I'm looking for just the right blue to paint my bedroom and I think I found some in your Blues section. One of my favorite colors is Folk Art by Benjamin Moore. It's an older classic color - a beautiful clear green. It looks great in my kitchen with light maple cabinets & grey tile floor but also in my friend's kitchen - white cabinets, navy blue accents. Sorry - no photos!
ReplyDeleteINCREDIBLE idea, Kristin!!
ReplyDeleteThis is TOO COOL - I love this! It will be so much fun exploring here, thanks in advance!!!
ReplyDeleteLove this! You can help me pick colors when (if? :) we choose our house! Thanks again for watching Eliza today! She had a blast.
ReplyDeleteHa! So funny! I was looking at the exterior of your parents house and though, gee that sure looks like Missoula. So then I went to the about and lo and behold a darling Anderson girl!! You might not remember me, but we were in your folks ward! Love the blog, great inspiration! Summer Powelson
ReplyDeleteSummer, of course I remember you! How are you guys doing? Where are you at? It was so good to hear from you. Thanks for stopping by. :)
ReplyDeleteI love your site. My only complaint is that I didn't find you sooner! I will be doing some re-painting in the blog I just started so I will probably be visiting your site often. I have some paint colors for you too! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm good at picking individual colors but would love some advice or posts on "whole house color schemes". I think I have TOO many great colors going on and may want to make some changes.
ReplyDeleteJust found you and your sister's blogs and have loved browsing through looking at all of your color inspiration. We are about to repaint our home so this could be a great resource for us. Thanks!
