What a great blog idea! I am definitely bookmarking your site for future paint jobs (like our kitchen). I adore our master bedroom's color: Ben Moore Santorini Blue. We went to Santorini on our honeymoon, and this color really does match the color of the sky above that gorgeous little island.

ReplyDeleteI used Lyndhurst Timber in my living area, dining and kitchen. It is from Lowes. I am currently working on my 1/2 bath doing stripes of Lyndhurst Timber and a mix of white and 25% of Lyndhurst. Love your blog!
My absolute favorite paint color is Martha Stewart's Sharkey Grey. It's the perfect grey-toned neutral that goes with EVERYTHING. As 'boring' as having a favorite neutral sounds, this one won't disappoint.
ReplyDeleteI have used it in our dining room:

Our upstairs hallway:

And just last week in our unfinished nursery:

I have raved about this color on my blog several times and would recommend it to anyone who wants a warm, neutral wall.

ReplyDeleteI am searching for a paint color called Autumn Vineyard a Martha Stewart color and have not been able to find it. I know that Home Depot now carries Marthe Stewart paint but does not seem to list this color. Does anyone know where I might find this paint or whether or not it is now called by another name...?

ReplyDeleteRecently redone master bedroom. It was dark as it's a basement room, so after our trip to Jamaica I was inspired to go beachy... The dresser was an old relic from my husband's grandparents and icky brown. I had mirrors cut adhered them to the front of the drawers and painted the rest white. The color on the wall is called Egyptian Cotton by Sico.
ReplyDeleteHelp? I am starting to redo my first floor (living room, 1/2 bath, kitchen/dinette area, office, foyer). I've attached the design board that shows some of the living room furniture (gray, teal/turquoise accents, teal/silver area rug, dark wood) ... it also shows my dinette table and area rug. I've started painting the living room Valspar "Winter in Paris" and have painted an accent wall Valspar "Vintage Teal" (much of it will be covered by the entertainment center). I would like to paint the office a different color and the foyer another color (foyer walls go up the stairs and the entire 2nd floor hall and the office is across from the living room separated by foyer), but I want to maintain the gray/teal theme. I've having difficulty coming up with complimentary colors - any ideas?
ReplyDeleteWe just repainted our bedroom with Smokey Blue by Behr.
