National Painting Week

National painting week by Sherwin-Williams is back! They are celebrating once again with inspiring projects, tips for adding a touch of style to any space in your home, and color suggestions and tools. Each day they are featuring a different color with inspiration from other bloggers. Love this infographic with suggestions on where to begin when painting your home.

I had the chance to interview Jackie Jordan last year, one of Sherwin-Williams’ top color experts. I am going to have that opportunity again and would love to ask her some of your burning paint questions. If you have anything you would love to know from the professionals leave me a comment and I will be sure to include it in my interview. It could be anything – paint tips to color combinations.
Head on over to Sherwin-Williams for more tips and ideas and be sure to check out some of FPC’s favorite Sherwin-Williams colors for more inspiration. Happy Painting!

  1. Perhaps a lame novice question but I'm really confused about paint sheen. I have heard completely different opinions regarding the use of flat interior paint. Some say it is very forgiving in covering wall imperfections, and others say it makes any flaw show up. It also seems to me that a lot of interior decorators use a flat finish. what's the deal?

  3. Thanks Kristin. PS. I have been following your blog for quite some time. I'm sure we are two peas from the same pod. My husband finds it nuts that i can look at paint colors for hours on end. Too bad you don't live in Salt Lake. it would be great to have a friend to chat about colors with. :) yikes. did this come accross of totally stalker-ish?
